The design goal was to humanize a healthcare setting to counterbalance the high-technology, scientific and institutional medical practice.
We used evidence based research concepts to develop the design language for the facility. The patient experience is enhanced by providing a sense of control, external views, positive acoustics, natural light, pleasant fragrances, bodily comfort, varied color and artwork on walls for visual stimulation.
